“ This is a small plates restaurant and they recommend three plates per person. We had three plates from the nibbles section and two from the Plates section, but we added a bow of chips between two of us and I had a strawberries and cream dessert. This was more than enough, though my boyfriend then ordered the cheeseboard as it looked so nice! The food was out of this world! Every dish was unique and the look and taste wonderful. Service very efficient and professional and the ambience cosy and welcoming. ”
“ Fantastic!! Wonderful quirky pub restaurant with lovely staff serving great food. We phoned ahead cause we were going to be early for our booking, no problem our table was ready in the dog friendly snug in front of a log burning fire. Just what we needed after a long walk in the rain. We had complemtry homemade tomato crisps with aioli which tasted great. We both chose the pate for starter and both agreed it was the nicest we had ever had and we class ourselves as connoisseurs on chicken liver pate. We then chose roast dinners which we both enjoyed very much, generous portions of everything and very tasty. Finally I opted for the cheeseboard to finish of a superb lunch and experience. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. ”

The accommodating staff made our visit delightful, graciously accommodating our golden retriever by relocating us to the snug.
